Hello All Lax Players and Supporters,

 

I just wanted to give kudos to Scott's lessons.  My son has been participating in Scott's private & semi private lessons/clinics throughout the summer and fall.  They have been phenomenal. The individual attention and hands on approach that My son receives has built his confidence and really improved his game, stick skills and his shot.

 

The small group atmosphere enables each player to get targeted coaching on where he needs it most. Scott also recruits other coaches who love the game to participate in the lessons.

 

It is an excellent investment in LAX.

We went to SLIC this Sunday and saw and heard some interesting things. First, I saw one of your trainees. He played really well on offense, with very settled sure hands and good calm play.  He was looking to pass allot which helped open up our offense nicely.  Second, I talked to two parents who send their boys to your clinics and they really seemed pleased with you and your instruction.  That is the second time I have heard nice compliments about your instruction from parents--thought you would want to know.

Hi Scott,
We hope to see you next week.  Just an update, my Son played on Sunday at SLLIC with his new team. He did awesome and wishes you could have seen him in action.  Your lessons really helped him improve allot, he caught all balls that came his way! Be proud, we were.

PS:  My son scored 3 goals on Sunday and had 2 assists.  What we worked on Saturday really worked.

Thanks for the encouragement Scott.  When we left the clinic last week, my son was pumped, as I was as well.  It’s just the thing he needs.  We saw Richie the next day at Dreamsports and he reinforced some of the skills you worked on the day before.  My son also took your coaching on shooting and scored six of the 12 goals his team had in a 14-12 loss to the Cougars.  One goal was came from a face off and another at the whistle from a penalty at the high crease.  The Cougars had a 16 man roster compared to eight players.  He’s really taking to the sport and wants to strive to become the best player he can be.

The passion you and Richie have and the interest in the kids learning the game was apparent to me only minutes after we got to the clinic last week.  If you ever need anyone to practice with, My son will be there.
